Good morning Lovelies, I hope you're all well, I wish our summer weather would come back :( it's been so changeable.
So I'm sharing with you today my CAS creations for the bi-monthly feature for Chocolate Baroque DT blog, it's been set up to show you that you don't have to use flash techniques to create something quite, simple and lovely, these all took less than 15 mins.
My first is using a large stamp from the stunning Patchwork Butterfly set, I've used Linen texture card stock, I masked off square using lo-tack tape, stamped using Versafine Inkpad in Black and coloured using watercolour pencils.
I created this envelope using stamps from the Mini art sets and the SKL Landscape, which I coloured in using Watercolour pencils.
Simply stamped onto Linen textured card which had been die cut using a stitched edge nesting die, then using distress ink and waterbrush to create a bit of light and shade on my blue moon.
I hope I've inspired you today, I do love create CAS projects, thank you for visiting, have a wonderful day xx Zoe xx
Good morning Lovelis and happy Sunday.
I'm sharing with you some more samples using Sweet Poppy Stencils today it's Zen Tulips another fabulous design by Tracey Dutton from Lavinia Stamps.
Make a note in your diaries, 9th July 3pm Lucy will be on Create and Craft tv!
I used Yupo Paper and Alcohol inks to create my backgrounds, my first card I used Glossy Black SP texture paste and the second card I used a black Sparkle Medium.
Thank you for visiting, have a great day xx Zoe xx
Good Morning Lovelies, I'm back with my third post featuring another gorgeous new Stencil from Sweet Poppy, this time it's Poppy Circle another beautiful stencil designed by Tracey Dutton - aka Lavinia Stamps, I love poppies as do many people, they lend themselves to so many occasions, I've dedicated mine to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Battle of the Somme.
My first I simply used Glossy white Sweet Poppy texture paste, once dry I used alcohol inks with a felt applicator.
My second card I stamped some script then coloured with spray inks, used translucent SP paste, once dry I carefully painted over using Starlight paint in black using an almost dry wet wipe, I worked fast to allow to remove the paint while wet off the image.
Don't forget to tune in to Create and Craft tv on 9th July at 3pm
Have a great day, back tomorrow with more samples, xx Zoe xx
